| Bamboozled
Soon after an order is received, the customer starts his e-mail "I've been bamboozled..."
What does that mean...? "Bamboozle" is most commonly associated with cheating and deception.
"To conceal one's true motives from especially by elaborately feigning good intentions so as to gain an end."
"To take in by elaborate methods of deceit; hoodwink."
"To deceive by trickery"
"To betray a friend, robbing them for gain."
Why do I write this? Well, some say there is no such thing as bad advertising.... but even after the customer closes a later e-mail saying subsequent "nice things" as his refund is received, and he looks forward to "future...." Nonetheless, I have no such plans and I have blocked the IP source of the "bamboozling" order.
Our family has been piddling around with ukuleles for some 20 plus years. We do it primarily for fun... and yes, we earn a little profit to help us pay the bills... for which I am grateful.
But we are not thieves, and we do not want or need your money bad enough to steal it.
We describe all merchandise as best and accurately as we understand the product's conditions and specifications.
Should you ever become disappointed with your order from us, simply send us an e-mail telling us of the problem itself.... Name calling is not required. And yes, we will resolve your order without being thieves. And may I repeat.... We don't want your money bad enough to steal it!
[Us Texan's don't cotton too well when being called a low-down, conniving, sneaky, double-crossing, money-grubbing varmint. (grin)]
